Politics is not the only aspect of his life. He is a man of emotions. At various occasions he becomes emotional. He is a very sensitive human being, a quality rarely possessed by today’s politicians. He understands and shares the values of regards and disregards.

Before filing his nomination for the post of Vice President he went to the party headquarter to meet his party colleagues. During his interaction with party colleagues there he became very emotinal. There were tears in his eyes wanting to spill over. His voice was shaken too. Tearful eyes and shaken present there that is was his earning of fifty year of his political life, which is not less thanany one else.

Bhairon Singh Shekhawat is know for his soft heartendness. He has a smiling face too. But he could also be bold and outspoken when needed. Sometimes when he deals with members and leaders of his own party he deals strongly. He often did not pause to contemplate the effect of his stands on his political career, and always apposed the fundamentaltalist attitude of RSS and its attempts to Saffronise the aducational curriculum and society.

Shekhawat is a matured and seasined politician, who always thinks for the betterment and progress of the people and his party. Shekhawat is a politician who knows the art of social engineering. No one better knows the importance of maneuvering in electoral politics. His thought was in conflict with RSS. For RSS, commitment and dedication come before politics. Like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Shekhawat always held a liberal view. At various occasions he argued against views of RSS leaders. Due to being liberal he never felt comfortable with RSS.
